Time is Flying

For the third time in about five years, I did a photo shoot with our wonderful friends from church. When I look at our church family, it is somewhat dizzying to think of how our kids have grown up together, and how they are all getting so tall and increasing in their independence, growing in their personalities and in their own ideas about life.
So it was fun to once again get behind the camera and mark this moment in time, when their oldest is on the cusp of teenage-hood, their middle son is getting one step closer to middle school, and their youngest has grown from one of my few newborn shoots to a grinning eight-year-old.
It was a smokey afternoon due to the wildfires in Oregon, but that didn't stop us, and in fact in some respects added a bit of softness and a touch of magic to a couple of the shots.
Enjoy!
