Vancouver Photo Outing

I had the pleasure of going to Vancouver last weekend for a photography outing with a friend from our local camera club. Rain was pouring down earlier in the day and we weren't sure how the evening would turn out, but the forecast was promising, so off we went. The rain stopped for us, and with the clouds moving out, we were treated to a spectacular sunset! Then we shot some cityscape images of the city's lights against the sky.

After a couple of hard weeks, I wasn't even sure I had the energy for this outing, but the end result was life-giving. The blessing of God's beautiful handiwork, the delight of getting to know an acquaintance better by spending an evening shooting with her, and some lovely images to enjoy afterwards? What could be better!
